2021 Continuing Education

Up to 36 CE; 27 APA CE, CME/CNE hours (depending on the licensing board) are available for psychologists, social workers, LMFTs, professional counselors, nurses, physicians, drug and alcohol counselors, and acupuncturists attending the 23rd International Energy Psychology Conference: The Art & Science of Transformational Change (including pre- and post-conference trainings). CE information may change prior to the conference.

You can get your CE/CME/CNE in two ways.


  • Watch the session live. No exam required. Download your certificate.

  • Watch the recording, which will be available a few weeks after the conference ends. This qualifies as home study. You will need to complete the exam for each session to get your CE/CME/CNE.

  • Do both. Watch some sessions live and get CE/CME/CNE and and then watch some recordings, take the test (and evaluation) and get CE/CMECME for those sessions.


OVERALL CONFERENCE GOALS

  • Define, establish and promote the evolving discipline of energy psychology through theory, application, innovation, ethical use and research.
  • Introduce the latest developments in energy psychology practices in a variety of disciplines.
  • Explore consciousness practices supporting health and well-being.
  • Expand and deepen the scientific study and practice of approaches that recognize working holistically with the mind-body-energy-spirit system accelerates and deepens healing for individuals, communities and the world.
  • Integrate energy psychology with other approaches for personal change and transformation.
  • Continue the conference's tradition of meeting these goals in an atmosphere of collegiality, collaboration, compassion, and fun.

OVERALL CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

  • Identify at least 3 energy psychology methods or strategies to decrease negative or aversive affect.
  • Describe at least 3 practices for reducing stress using energy psychology and related methods.
  • Identify at least 3 energy psychology practices that can be integrated with general psychotherapy and counseling principles.
  • List at least 2 concepts of how "energy” relates to energy psychology and the practices of counseling and healing.
  • List at least 3 pieces of research that support the efficacy of energy psychology approaches.

ACEP is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor Continuing Education for Psychologists. ACEP maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Sessions approved for APA credit are clearly identified.

ACEP, Provider #1048, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. ACEP maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 02/28/19 to 02/28/22. Social workers completing this course receive up to 36 Clinical continuing education credits.

The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5868. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. ACEP is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

This course has been approved by the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, as a NAADAC Approved Education Provider, for educational credits. NAADAC Provider #100504. The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology is responsible for all aspects of the programming.

ACEP is an approved provider for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (#727).

ACEP is a CE co-sponsor with the Institute for Better Health (IBH). Sessions that qualify for CME/CNE credits are clearly identified online. Prior to registering, see website for specific session CE approvals, complete course descriptions, and speaker/planner conflict of interest disclosures.



Physicians:This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the ACCME through the joint sponsorship of IBH and ACEP. IBH is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. IBH designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™ per hour attended. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Nurses:IBH is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

California:ACEP is an approved CE provider by the APA, which is recognized by the California Board of Psychology to offer CEs for CA-based psychologists, and by the ASWB and NBCC, which are recognized by California Board of Behavioral Sciences to offer CEs for CA-based MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs and/or LCSWs. ACEP is an approved CE provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing (provider #14626).


Florida:ACEP is an approved CE provider FL Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy & Mental Health Counseling, Certified Master Social Workers and FL Board of Nursing (CE Provider #50-10765). ACEP is an approved provider for THE ART & SCIENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE (FL CE Broker Tracking # 20-818028).


New York:Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers, #SW-0164, and the State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed mental health counselors, #MHC-0138, and marriage and family therapists, #MFT-0069.


New Jersey Social Workers:All conferences approved by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) will also be automatically accepted for credit in New Jersey. ACEP, Provider #1048, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.


PLEASE NOTE:The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) is accredited by many professional organizations to offer continuing education credit. Many states enact licensing requirements for continuing education that override the rules of even a national accreditation organization. As state boards meet frequently and revise and/or clarify license requirements regularly we always recommend you check with your state board for the most recent information and regulations.

Completion Requirements to Receive Your Certificate

You must sign in and out of all sessions you attend. Approximately one week after the conference is over, you will receive an email with a link to an online evaluation of the overall conference and the specific sessions you attended. Once the evaluation is completed, you will be able to download a printable CE certificate via email for your files.
