Description

Frequently, clients describe themselves as being empty, as if part of themselves is missing. We will explore the fragmentation of consciousness in trauma and examine strategies to safely re-integrate these fragmented aspects so that your client is able to be fully present and enjoy life again.

OBJECTIVES

  • Name 5 clinical symptoms of fragmentation of consciousness.
  • State 2 metaphors that de-mystify and de-pathologize this fragmentation.
  • Name the 6 R's of treatment of fragmented parts of self.
