Description

Energy psychology /cognitive somatic methods are a safer alternative to medication for pain relief; there are no issues of cognitive deficits or addiction. You will learn five brief energy psychology pain releasing techniques in this highly interactive workshop. We will re-examine the Brief Energy Correction and explore how to add metaphors to somatic approaches, combining the art and science of neurobiological pain release. 

OBJECTIVES

  1. Name 3 reasons why non-medication pain management benefits the individual and society.
  2. Describe 2 ways to release pain using cognitive somatic approaches. 
  3. Name 2 safety concerns when treating medically undiagnosed acute pain.
